An aircheck from my radio show at KAZU in Pacific Grove, recorded on September 18, 1983 on a TDK D90 cassette, which explains the sound quality. But what a fab mix from a fab year of music! It's a tad embarrassing as I lay open my soul about the love of my life at the time, my English boyfriend Tim Swales, but what the hell. I was 22 and in head-over-heels with my first International Lover!

I made cassette mixtapes from vinyl throughout the 1980's and then from CDs in the 1990's, until I started burning my compilations onto CDs sometime in the 2000s. Not only did much thought and care go into the mixes, but most of them have beautiful handcrafted cover art as well. I'm now pleased to be able to share them with you digitally.
